During New York City’s Fashion Week 2025, I had the chance to sit down with Soraya Salonga, founder and CEO of 7th S Productions, a creative production company dedicated to promoting Filipino designers and celebrating a diverse pool of talents of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds.

When I decided to learn more about the USS Telesforo Trinidad, I had no clue I would end up meeting some of the highest-ranking Filipino Americans to serve in the U.S. military.

From them, I learned that duty, when chosen, becomes something powerful that drives you. Beyond any sense of obligation.

This is what I want to bring forth into YEAR FOUR.

When I heard an important Filipino Christmas Mass was being celebrated in Phoenix, Arizona for the first time ever, I picked up my camera and headed to historic St. Mary’s Basilica for SIMBANG GABI.

During my trip to Mexico City, I couldn’t help but take the chance to learn more about a special holiday known as Dia de Muertos.

Main reason being, this same celebration is also honored in the Philippines. 🇲🇽 ❤️ 🇵🇭
