Ann Manuel is a Filipina bag designer based in Ilagan City, Isabela, Philippines. Her designer bags exude high-quality craftswomanship, incorporating native Philippine materials.

Ann began her design journey nearly 3 decades ago, quietly handcrafting bags while raising her family, selling her creations to close friends. Soon enough, her bags found their way to international markets, including Saudi Arabia, Spain, and Japan.

I got the chance to sit down with Ann before her world premiere at New York Fashion Week, where she stepped into the spotlight as a featured designer at 7th S Productions’ Opulence Season 3 in New York City. 

Her story of resilience moved me to tears and inspired me to always believe in my vision.
